Swimmer's Haven on Sheep Pond

There’s something about a waterfront home! We’ve just checked out of our 5th Del Mar Vacations home, Swimmer’s Haven (# 804), and it was a good one. The newly renovated (kitchen and living areas), newly furnished home on Sheep Pond in Brewster was loved by the humans and the pups.

The home slept 8 with four bedrooms on two levels, a cozy living room, a fully equipped renovated WHITE kitchen, a large dining area, and two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.

While the house was perfect, we spent most of our time enjoying the views from the large deck and on Sheep Pond, the natural kettle hole pond, itself.

When you stay at Swimmers Haven you have direct private pond access with a long set of stairs leading down to the water. We brought our blowup paddleboard to explore the water, but the home offers it's guests a canoe which came in handy for our other family members to use.

On Saturday we started the day exploring the neighborhood which was super peaceful with all the woodlands. We spent the entire rest of the day kayaking, fishing, and the pups did A LOT of swimming. Harper stayed on the shore and splashed around but Knox and Bear were loving the clear water where they could see the fish swimming below. It was a perfect day followed by pizza from Stone L’Oven Pizza Co, only a short drive from the house.

The dogs enjoyed running up and down the stairs to the pond, and also lounging in the decently sized front yard. The home was definitely very suitable for pets and their owners, and we hope to return in the future!
