On the Cove in Eastham

Last spot, best spot! Although, the “best spot” phrase keeps getting used at every new Del Mar Vacations home we visit. But these water views, truly hard to beat!

Located on Town Cove on the Orleans and Eastham border, you’ll find the 3,000 square foot, dog-friendly “On the Cove” home. When we walked through the home you are immediately stopped by the breathtaking water views from every window. There is a master suite on the first floor with its own bathroom and own access to the deck, which we took. The first floor also has a large open concept living room, kitchen, and of course the views, 180-degree panorama of water views. 

Upstairs there is a bonus living room perfect for lounging, another en-suite master with a private deck, an additional bedroom with a private deck, and expansive “kids room” with bunk beds, two twin beds, and a foosball table. I wish I was a kid again to hang out in this room with friends. So fun! 

On the back deck, you can watch the boats cruise in and out of the cove, BBQ with friends and family, and read a book with a glass of wine or two in hand.

Off the back deck, you can walk down to the water where you can launch kayaks, swim, fish, or let the pups take a dip. 

BTW there were A TON of bunnies around the yard, so be careful if your dog(s) have a high prey drive or tend to chase small furry things. We took our eye off Bear for a few minutes and he was sprinting down the marshes to a yard that had about 5 bunnies grazing. All recall was lost at that moment LOL. 

Aside from the beautiful property, the location was convenient to jump on Route 6 for day trips. It also was walkable to The Knack (the BEST fried chicken sandwiches), TJ Maxx (they reopened while we were there… heaven!), and Stop & Shop for all the BBQing you will be doing on the deck. 

We highly recommend this awesome spot and we cannot wait to return in the future.
