Lets Give Back!
As many of you know, I have always been an animal lover. It has been a running joke in my family, that when I came into this world I was instantly begging for a dog. After 22 years of countless Birthday/Christmas wishes, meltdowns and more than real life dreams, my daydream came true. When I graduated from college in 2014, I rescued Bear.
Bear was more than I ever imaged as a child. I instantly gained a best friend, a companion and the love of my life. He came into this world homeless with his brothers and sisters, but with the help of Lost But Now Loved Animal Rescue, he came to me at 4 months old *almost* potty trained, crate trained, basic commands under his belt and most importantly the medical attention he needed. When he arrived I didn’t know much about rescue, however I gained a lot of knowledge in those first few months and especially after rescuing Knox and then Harper. Rescue, is the chance to give 1 of over 7.6 million companion animals who enter the shelter every year another chance. Rescue is the chance to save 1 of the 2.7 million animals that are euthanized every year.
Rescue has forever educated me and changed my perception on breeders, puppy stores and the overpopulation of pets in the U.S.. That is why it is time for us to give back. We have created (with the help of Booster and Custom Ink) and are selling awesome t-shirts, tanks and long sleeves to benefit the rescue that started it all for us, Lost But Now Loved in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. LBNL is an animal rescue, dedicated to pets without homes. They rescue dogs from South Arkansas and surrounding areas and re-home them in the North East where they will have a warm, soft bed, food, medical care and most of all, love. Their mission, “to save as many of these precious animals as we possibly can with whatever resources we can obtain."
So please, consider purchasing these amazing shirts of Bear, Harper and Knox taking their freedom ride home or donating to this cause now through September 1st. Proceeds with benefit Lost But Now Loved Animal Rescue.
